Food Hygiene is defined as: "The measures and conditions necessary to control hazards and ensure the suitability for human consumption of a food product taking into account the intended use of the product".

Registration in the Sanitary Registry
In accordance with Decree 158/2016, of October 4, which modifies Decree 61/2012, of March 13, regulating the procedure for sanitary authorization and prior communication of the start of activity of food companies and establishments, creating the Sanitary Registry of Food Companies and Establishments of Andalusia.

Infractions are classified as minor, serious and very serious, resulting in the following sanctions:
